EURO XIX in Istanbul (July 6-10, 2003)
Turkey will receive this joint conference with INFORMS. The chairman of the programme committee will be Professor Wäscher (Germany).
A new EURO instrument : ORP3
The ORP3 instrument (EURO peripatetic post-graduate programme) is intended to be an annual meeting organised for and by young OR researchers from OR laboratories out of the member countries of EURO. This programme intends to replace the former EURO Prime Conference instrument.
The ORP3 events should complement the EURO Summer and Winter institutes. It is a short annual meeting lasting two or three days maximum. The scientific expertise is in case of the ORP3 event provided by the scientific potential of a hosting OR laboratory. The ORP3 instrument is meant on the one hand to motivate young researchers to become future organisers of OR Conferences and on the other to explain and illustrate them scientific reviewing and editing activities.
